G.O.O.D. Music Covers Complex Magazine
The G.O.O.D. music crew is gearing up for a Cruel Summer and have landed the cover of the latest issue of Complex Magazine. Kanye West, Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Common, Big Sean, John Legend, Q-Tip and 2 Chainz have formed a “new religion” and we finally get to hear them all speak on the situation. Read the full article here!
What does G.O.O.D. Music mean to you?
John Legend: It starts with the name itself. We want to be known for quality. We want to be known for stuff that we all can be proud of. That creativity, that attention to detail, that quality control—that’s what distinguishes us from other folks who might just be chasing a hit. Kanye picks artists who care about making great art. We all want to make money and do well, but we also want to make great art that’s important and interesting.

New Music Video: Lil Wayne feat. Big Sean – My Homies Still
Lil Wayne’s newest single My Homies Still featuring Big Sean gets some visualization and this video is looking like it had a lot of Odd Future type influence. This is certainly isn’t your typical hip-hop video but Wayne always has been an alien. This was supposedly his lead single off of I Am Not A Human Being 2 but since then Tunechi’s been talking of a 2013 drop for Tha Carter V so who knows what he’s up to; all I know is this is my shit.
New Music: CyHi The Prynce feat. Chris Brown & Big Sean – 100 Bottles
CyHi The Prynce is an extremely talented artist on Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label. His music has been posted on this site before and he has also been featured for Freestyle Friday, but his mixtape, The Ivy League Club has been due for awhile. By the sounds of the tracks that have been leaked from it, this project is shaping up to be one of CyHi’s best yet. This time he recruits fellow GOOD Music labelmate Big Sean for a verse as well as Chris Brown and a beat that appeared on Breezy’s mixtape Boy In Detention.
New Music: Big Sean feat. Mac Miller – Hundred Dollar Bill Skyscraper
Damn! How’s this for a hot collaboration to kick start your weekend? Even with the rain you can’t be unhappy when a track with Big Sean and Mac falls on your ears. These guys have hinted via Twitter in the past they had done some work together but this is the first time I’ve seen a full track with just the two of them. Another great new jam of the summer. Big Sean has a mixtape, sophomore LP, and a hand in Cruel Summer the G.O.O.D. Music collaborative all due to drop relatively soon.
New Music Video: G.O.O.D. Music feat. 2 Chainz – Mercy
The massive track off of the upcoming GOOD Music collaborative album featuring the man everyone wants a verse from, 2 Chainz now has a video to go along with it and it’s quite the spectacle. Awesome in it’s simplicity, but still with some dope cars and stunning visuals.
New Video: Big Sean Talks Status of Sophomore LP, Upcoming Mixtape
New interview with another of my favorite artists, Big Sean. Sean has been dropping hints for awhile now about a new mixtape coming soon and it seems it is closer than we thought. The GOOD Music rapper says it should be on the way in the next few weeks but did not disclose exactly when or the title. Big Sean also discusses how his sophomore LP is coming and how far along he is on that.
