New Mixtape: Akon – Konkrete Jungle
Akon has been getting back into his flow of feeding the streets new free music just like he was doing before he took off big time. It seems like it wasn’t long ago we were posting the last mixtape he dropped. It’s great to see artists that have made still drop mixtapes of great music to their fans for promotional reasons only. Akon recruited the likes of Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, and E-40 to get on some of these tracks to make for some dope features as well.
New Mixtape: 2012 XXL Freshman Class: The Mixtape
More than a month ago, XXL magazine released their most talked about cover of the year, the Freshman Class cover. This year’s class as every other year was debated, argued, praised, hated, and loved. Regardless of what you thought of these young new rappers, the buzz that comes along with the cover is certainly present. There were a couple of freestyle cyphers that dropped a few weeks ago and now we finally have the mixtape featuring original music from every member of the class.
