Kid Cudi Splits with G.O.O.D. Music
All G.O.O.D. things must come to an end. Kid Cudi recently stopped by L.A.’s Power 106 and announced that he is no longer a member of G.O.O.D. Music. Cudi said there was no bad blood between Kanye or any of the label mates. Instead of repping the “clique,” Kid Cudi wants to focus on his own band/label, Wicked Awesome and collaborator King Chip.
Pusha T Links Up with Boost Mobile – Be Heard Sessions
G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T links up with Boost Mobile to share his voice and encourages others to do the same with the, Be Heard Sessions. Pusha discussing when he started writing, linking up with Pharrell, and what being an artist means to him.
Event: Pusha-T with Moufy & Sweens
This Friday (November 16th) G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T will be rolling into Showcase Live for a concert at Patriot Place in Foxboro, Massachusetts. Opening for Push will be none other than Boston native and Star Gang general, Moufy. This is a big card for Moufy who has also shared the stage with the likes of Mac Miller & J. Cole. Big Sean Announces New Mixtape “Detroit”
Big Sean dropped the bomb tonight, announcing that his next mixtape “Detroit” will be dropping September 5th. In a short Twitter address to his fans, Sean catches everyone up to speed on his busy life. as an artist:
“We been working hard, everyday for the past 8 months and I can honestly say that me, my label, my team are more than excited how my new album sounds. It’s everything I want it to be n more. A true representation of what I stand for, what I believe in, how I live, great story telling, n great production. I took my time with it and it made all the difference. It will be coming out before the end of year and I can’t fuckin wait. We’ll be dropping the 1st track from the album very soon. BEFORE my album, the GOOD Music Compilation “Cruel Summer” is coming which is scheduled for next month (Sep. 18th). BUT before that…I wanted to give u guys this mixtape I have on deck, I feel now is the perfect time for it, I wanted to make sure.”
The G.O.O.D. Music all-star also stated that he will start releasing songs and videos for off the project starting this week. Be on the lookout for more Big Sean goodness as he brings his D town swag to your speakers on September 5th!

The G.O.O.D. music crew is gearing up for a Cruel Summer and have landed the cover of the latest issue of Complex Magazine. Kanye West, Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Common, Big Sean, John Legend, Q-Tip and 2 Chainz have formed a “new religion” and we finally get to hear them all speak on the situation. Read the full article here!

New Music: Big Sean feat. Mac Miller – Hundred Dollar Bill Skyscraper
Damn! How’s this for a hot collaboration to kick start your weekend? Even with the rain you can’t be unhappy when a track with Big Sean and Mac falls on your ears. These guys have hinted via Twitter in the past they had done some work together but this is the first time I’ve seen a full track with just the two of them. Another great new jam of the summer. Big Sean has a mixtape, sophomore LP, and a hand in Cruel Summer the G.O.O.D. Music collaborative all due to drop relatively soon.

The massive track off of the upcoming GOOD Music collaborative album featuring the man everyone wants a verse from, 2 Chainz now has a video to go along with it and it’s quite the spectacle. Awesome in it’s simplicity, but still with some dope cars and stunning visuals.
Kanye West to Release Film “Cruel Summer”
I’ve always thought Kanye West was a talented and creative story teller. Earlier this week, Kanye reveled that he will be releasing a 26 minute film titled, “Cruel Summer.” The film was written, produced and directed all by Mr. West. The premiere went down at Cannes on Wednesday night. Even though the film was not part of the film festival, Kanye premiered it in the parking lot of a nearby casino! “Cruel Summer” is centered around a car thief who falls in love with a blind Arabian princess. The princess’ father will not let them marry unless the car thief cures her blindness. The film was inspired by a Middle Eastern story called “Antar and Alba,” which is similar to “Romeo and Juliet.” The film features Kid Cudi, who plays the car thief, Big Sean and comedian Aziz Ansari. We’re still waiting for more release details. Check back for updates!
