New Video: Kendrick Lamar Serves as Principal for Day at High School in Providence, RI
Pretty cool video here of K dot serving as principal for a day at Mount Pleasant High School in Providence, RI. Kendrick has always been known for being not only one of the best rappers in the game lyrically but also one of the brightest dudes in the game. He stressed to the kids the importance of their education and spread lots of positive messages. This is not your typical activity for a rapper currently on a world tour. For a full and more detailed article on this story, head over to HipHopDX.
New Music Video: Kendrick Lamar – Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe
The anti-buzzkill anthem of the moment gets its increbily dope accompanying music video. Check out the events page for info on that and keep it locked here and we may just hook you up with tickets.

New Video: Kendrick Lamar & ScHoolboy Q 3-part Interview w/ DJ Drama
DJ Drama always has the dopest, longest, natural sounding interviews with a lot of MCs. He is an OG in the game and knows just about everyone in it so that probably helps with the relaxed feeling of his interviews. It always just seems like him and some friends talking about life; except those friends are usually some of the best rappers in the game. This time it’s with MTV’s #1 ranked hottest MC and 2013 XXL Freshmen ScHoolboy Q.
New Music/Video: Kendrick Lamar feat. Jay-Z – Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe Remix

The art for this single couldn’t capture this song much better. One of the greatest of a generation blesses an incredible song by possibly the best in the game right now. If you thought you were excited to see/hear this track, check out how K Dot himself reacts when he hears it for the first time at a studio session for ScHoolboy Q’s new album.

New Music Video: Kendrick Lamar feat. Lady Gaga – Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe
Before the release of Kendrick’s iconic new album good kid, m.A.A.d city, there was swirls of talks as Kendrick told the world of his friendship with Lady Gaga and how if possible, she would appear on the album. After the release of the official track list and no Gaga to be found, Gaga shed light on the situation with this statement:
“I apologize to the fans that this situation with Partynausous is confusing. To it clear it up I must explain this. When I collaborate with an artist i work solely with them, not with their camps or management. Its purely organic and creative. I love Kendrick dearly as a friend, but was not willing to compromise musically to the changes his team was making to my music. This is why I am not his record. I have a very specific vision as a producer and songwriter, and I always have. That song will be released at a different time, for a different project. I love you, and think you should check out his stuff because he is truly great. He’s a good kid, its just sometimes a mad city.”
Now, however, Gaga has leaked her version of the track Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe, which is likely the track that Kendrick and Gaga planned on collaborating with together. All of this aside, this is a pretty dope version of this song and hopefully another collab will come of these two great artists and friends in the future.
Freestyle Friday: Kendrick Lamar Halloween Freestyle
Kendrick Lamar dropped by the studios of K104 in Dallas on Halloween and dropped a freestyle for the radio and even works in the words that they throw at him. It’s dope to see a legit off-the-top freestyle from one of the best rappers in the game right now.
