With his debut album, Excuse My French arriving May 21st, French Montana offers up the visuals for his latest single, “Ain’t Worried About Nothin.” In the video, Montana heads back to the Bronx with a yellow Lambo to put on for his city.
Everyones favorite independent rapper Mac Miller sat down with this dude who does all the Fuse interviews lately apparently. Mac talks a lot of awesome stuff including his upcoming collaborative project he teased awhile back titled Pink Slime. He confirms that project will NOT be with Cam’ron who the interviewer (and myself) thought for sure that’s who the other part would be. However, the wonderful world of twitter has teased us that the project will be with Pharrell after he has made some #PinkSlime tweets and Mac has as well in response.
I have to be honest. I have never been a huge 50 Cent fan. I may have said different for a short stint in 2002, but for the most part I haven’t been an overwhelming fan. However this mixtape has had lots of hype and for good reason. First off, whenever a mixtape garners a hosting from DJ Drama and a Gangsta Grillz title, it needs to be recognized. Then of course we have features from the likes of Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and, of course, 2 Chainz. Plus, this tape does seem to have that certain 50 swagger that hasn’t been present since the early 2000′s. I’m not saying this is the old school 50 we (I) have been missing, but it’s certainly some of his better recent work.
Newest single off of Big K.R.I.T.’s debut album Live From The Underground dropping June 5th. This album is shaping up to be an amazing debut for the young southern boy. It seems that all of his hard work in the mixtape grind is going to pay off with an incredible freshman project. Keep it locked for more from this Mississippi emcee.
One of the best promoters of all time is back to promote Khaled’s newest colossal album of the summer. Everything about this album has more of a feel of a film than an album. That’s usually always the case when dealing with WTB, MMG, YMCMB.
If you haven’t heard of the “hippy-hop” movement you need to do some homework on this cat. Mod Sun is probably one of the most positive and happy people I’ve ever encountered in hip-hop. This dude is all about feel good music and putting a smile on his listeners faces. This dude has a really cool underground following and is a very talented rapper. This is some perfect up-beat music for the summer. Certainly a style that should be adopted by many in a world full of haters.
If you like what you hear, be sure to download his newest mixtape Blazed By The Bell and keep an eye out for the Happy As Fuck EP dropping June 6th!
I’ve been meaning to post these tracks for a minute now but since I’m a slacking bitch I’m doing so now. One of my favorite artists Na Palm has been dropping more of his dope brand of hip-hop and EDM. Here’s a couple of tracks he’s dropped recently, one over world-famous dubstep DJ/producer Skrillex’s incredible collaboration track with the members of The Doors, Breakn’ A Sweat. Add some dope bars from Na Palm and you have yourself a whole entire reinvention of this song that gets shit poppin. His newest track is over a remix of Radiohead song that I haven’t heard before but is still pretty hype. This track is a little more of a laid back pace but still goes hard.
