New Mixtape: 50 Cent – 5 (Murder By Numbers)
As promised, 50 Cent has released his free album. A few months back 50 stated that he would be releasing his next project in July regardless of label support. Although these 10 new tracks aren’t as hot as The Lost Tape, there is one song that deserves an honorable mention: Roll That Shit (feat. Kidd Kidd). The next “official” album drops in November.

50 Cent is right back into his rap game as he drops a brand new video for a track titled OJ featuring Kidd Kidd off of his newest mixtape that brought us back to that old 50 feel. It’s cool to see 50 finding his flow again after (*opinion alert*) falling off for about a decade.
New Mixtape: 50 Cent – The Lost Tape
I have to be honest. I have never been a huge 50 Cent fan. I may have said different for a short stint in 2002, but for the most part I haven’t been an overwhelming fan. However this mixtape has had lots of hype and for good reason. First off, whenever a mixtape garners a hosting from DJ Drama and a Gangsta Grillz title, it needs to be recognized. Then of course we have features from the likes of Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and, of course, 2 Chainz. Plus, this tape does seem to have that certain 50 swagger that hasn’t been present since the early 2000′s. I’m not saying this is the old school 50 we (I) have been missing, but it’s certainly some of his better recent work.

Earlier this week, Wiz dropped “Work Hard, Play Hard,” the first single from his sophomore album, “O.N.I.F.C.” The track was produced by Stargate (“Black and Yellow”) and Benny Bianco. It’s clear Wiz’s hometown (Pittsburgh) is where people work hard and play hard. If this isn’t your anthem this weekend, you ain’t on your grind!
