Kid Ink and Kirko Bangz are two very dope young artists and I love their sound together. I really think that a collaborative project between these two would be sick as hell considering their similar styles and sound play off each other extremely well. Anyways, check out their brand new track produced by Cardiak and Frank Dukes titled Take It Down. Up & Away in stores independently June 12th.

The “Queen Bee” is back! Brooklyn native, Lil Kim will be coming to the Higher Ground ballroom Tuesday, May 22nd. This will be her second time coming to VT, since her last show in 2010. As a member of Junior M.A.F.I.A back in the 90′s, Lil Kim stormed onto the scene with her intense, sexual, and raw style. After a storied 18 years in the game, Lil Kim is still moving forward. Check out her hot mixtape, Black Friday, which was released on Valentine’s Day of last year. More recently, Kim has been working on her fifth album and released a new joint with Jeezy, Keys To The City, in March. Join GMHH and Stevie Beats from Planet 96.7 as we welcome Lil Kim back to VT. Spring Break Live Performances: Big Sean, Young Jeezy, 2 Chainz
While we are stuck inside staring at computer screens there are tons of people on Spring Break. Of course everyone knows where there is Spring Break partying, there must be live music. Check out these performances one from 2 Chainz and two others from Big Sean and Young Jeezy as they hold down the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Maybe if you close your eyes and wish hard enough you’ll wake up on Spring Break in Vegas! One can only dream, right?
New Music: J. Cole, Chip Tha Ripper, DJ Drama, & More
It’s Friday so how about some fresh tracks for the weekend? Why not start things off with one of the hottest younger MCs in the game right now J. Cole. He just dropped this gem today and it is pure fire.
Next up, a couple new tracks from Chip Tha Ripper. He’s continuing the onslaught of new music since releasing his mixtape Tell Ya Friends back in late January which is full of bangers. He has since released a couple new songs one of which features Casey Veggies.
Next a new banger collaboration brought to you by DJ Drama and friends. Dram knows how to get big names together to produce a banger and that’s what he’s done again.
Lastly, a couple songs from some artists you might be sleeping on but absolutely shouldn’t. First up, Brisco is a Florida rapper that has actually been around for awhile and you may recgonize his name because he’s made some great collaborations with Lil Wayne back in the day. Well he’s back again with just that. Also, if you haven’t heard the name Slaughterhouse you better get used to the name. This is the hip-hop supergroup on Shady Records comprised of Royce Da 5’9″, Joe Budden, Crooked I, & Joell Ortiz. This is the supposed first single from their album Welcome to: Our House which (for now) is set to release on May 15th and will be mostly produced by Eminem. This one is a banger from a very talented supergroup in hip-hop.
PS: This track was produced by one of my favorite producers and reigning king of the MPC araabMUZIK. If you haven’t heard of him do your homework. Maybe do some extra credit.
