Lil B Receiving Death Threats Over Album Title, “I’m Gay”
Recently, up and coming rapper Lil B has received death threats after announcing that his next album will be titled I’m Gay. Shortly after the announcement, Lil B made it very clear that he is heterosexual and that the title refers to his happiness in life. Lil B told MTV news, “I’m very gay, but I love women… I’m not attracted to men in any way… I’m just so happy.” He later added that he supports the gay and lesbian community and wants to “push less separation.” In addition to the death threats, some of Lil B’s fans have turned on him since the announcement, but that doesn’t discourage him. “I’m not gonna stop, and I’m not scared of anybody on earth… that’s why I titled the album I’m Gay, and nobody gonna stop me.” If this album is a success, it will help break down the barriers of homophobia in the Hip-Hop community, which is what the game needs. Big ups to Lil B!
