Artists Raise $5 Million Dollars For Japan
Some of greatest artist’s in the game today, including Rihanna, Cee Lo, Eminem & Nicki Minaj, have teamed up to help raise millions of dollars for the earthquake/tsunami victims in Japan by putting together a joint album. The Songs for Japan album was released digitally on March 25th. Since its release, the album has sold over 500,000 copies, generating $5 million in revenue. The entire $5 million was sent to The Japanese Red Cross Society, on behalf of the artists, who waived their royalties and proceeds for the project. To do your part, buy the album at the iTunes store.
