Music Video of the Night: Kreayshawn “Gucci Gucci”

Who said white female rappers don’t exist? Meet Kreayshawn, a 21 year-old hip-hop singer, songwriter and director. Upon graduating from high school in Oakland, Kreayshawn attened Berkeley Digital Film Institute on scholarship and went on to direct videos for Lil B.  On top of that, she makes her own music with her “White Girl Mob” and generated nearly three million YouTube views in three weeks for her latest track, “Gucci Gucci.” Sounding like last year’s M.I.A. (“Paper Planes”), Kreayshawn is nominated for best new artist at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. With Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, and Tyler The Creator in the house, Kreayshawn will have some “stiff” competition. With all do respect, she DESERVES to be considered with tracks like this:
